Respected Sports Broadcaster Damian Watson joins me to review the Grand Final, including the Norm Smith Voting, the use of Wharfie Time and how Brisbane again came from nowhere to win the flag, on the view from the outer podcast that you can get on all social media platforms, thanks to D'asporto Italian Family Restaurants, as we put a close on another AFL season.

Two magnificent Preliminary Finals, including maybe the greatest game ever played between Brisbane and Hawthorn, with Brisbane going for a three-peat and Fremantle searching for their first flag, doing battle in the big dance on the weekend.

Luke Forsyth was drafted by the Lions in 2004 and spent two years on the list and actually lived with Jonathan Brown, which would have been a hoot, is my guest.

He is a senior coach in the MPFNL with Langwarrin and shares that role with former Swan player and North assistant Jarrod Moore.

When recording the Podcast, the deliberation regarding whether the Lachie Neale suspension would be overturned was still occurring.

Luke gives his view on that and whether the Hawthorn-Brisbane Preliminary Final was the best game he has ever seen, how the Grand Final will be played and also his own footy journey especially

It's thanks to our season sponsor, D'asporto Family Restaurants and the Local Footy Hub App.

On the view from the Outer Podcast, this week, which you can get on all social media platforms and spotify as part of the Dashing Dan Sporting Adventures Podcast thanks to D'asporto family restaurants, Dan Lonergan is on his own giving his view of the weekend';s four finals matches and the shock sacking of North Melbourne Coach, Alistair Clarkson.

He unlocks Hawthorn's stirring win in Perth over a disappointing Minor Premier, Fremantle, who arguably put in their worst performance of the season.

He talks about Carlton's great run coming to an end, one of the most inspirational finals victories ever when Sydney missing three of their best players banned from playing for the rest of the season along with two others by the club having their backs against the Wall and smashing the reigning premiers, Brisbane and Adelaide winning their first final for nine years and coach, Matthew Nicks' first ever against a gallant Western Bulldogs, who every season never seem to go up or down.

This win for Nicks and the Crows might also have saved the coach his job, with reports during the week claiming he would be sacked if they lost.

There is so much to talk about, so join Dan and get his view on the finals so far, what lies ahead and the silly season they call the trade period.

Round 23 was an exciting round with two draws in the same round including for the first time ever the same two teams Hawthorn and Collingwood tying both their games in a very similar way.

The Bulldogs and Carlton were also square after a pulsating match, which has seen the Blues recover from a parlous start of 1 win and 8 losses and sack their coach, Michael Voss and then turn their season around through Interim Coach, Josh Fraser, who after many weeks of speculation applied for the permanent gig and has got it..

That Draw has resulted in the Blues playing in the wildcard, only their position in the final round to be decided.

There has also been an off field incident at a Melbourne pub on Sunday night after the Swans win over Essendon, which is now in the hands of the police.

This could derail the swans' premiership chances as they are two games clear in second and will get two home finals.

I am alone for this episode of view from the outer giving my views and opinions on all these issues thanks to D'Asporto Italian Family restaurants.

Round 21 saw probably the best 4 quarter performance of the season from a club and it was an unlikely source in Carlton who thumped the reigning premiers Brisbane.
We unpack that game and the rest of the round including the Bulldogs" unorthodox game plan against Fremantle on the View from the Outer Podcast thanks to D'asporto Italian Family restaurants.

Mad Keen Western Bulldogs supporter, Tony Hargreaves and a fine sportsman in his own right in the 1970s with Yarraville as a footballer in the VFA and an opening bat with Footscray and Richmond during the tough days of District cricket joins me to was lyrical on those days and in particular the Bulldogs' game plan their inability to rise better than the middle of the ladder and who are the teams to beat as the finals get close.
